Families rule.

i received a call from mum last night. and you bet i was frantically excited. that's the first 'call' ever since she left me for haj. but that didn't made my day. we had an argue of me staying home alone. well, the whole idea was i promised to sleepover at makcik sue's house(the grouchy old neighbour next door). which i did not obey. huh.

I told her I was okay staying alone. Though i had gone through some hard time with cooking and doing some chores. to tell the truth home alone is like married to someone. you need to pay the bills, cook for your kids(aka my brother..sheesh), wash laundries, buy groceries etc. but i'm perfectly fine by my own. i did eventually learn how to cook. which is a good thing. but that didn't alleviate the whole situation. she told me that ayah sangat marah( i can tell that because he refuses to talk to me).

Somehow after the conversation it took me a while to think. and came up with this; Your parents look out for you because they love you. They are protective or possibly over protective and out of concern of your safety. We may think , "they don't trust me!" But is that really it.? They may trust us but not the world. AND sad but true, they may have a point.

The world isn't always trustworthy. Most strangers are nice; some are dangerous.
Which is all the more reason why it's lucky to have parents who care.

Unfortunately, i will still be staying at home. enough said
